Role Designed for Senior Development Professionals
This position targets experienced professionals capable of leading large-scale infrastructure projects. The Project Director will supervise planning, execution, coordination, financial oversight, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Applicants with previous experience in public sector development projects, especially within Balochistan, will receive additional preference during the selection process.
Educational Background and Professional Exposure

Candidates must possess at least 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution in a relevant discipline.
Accepted qualifications include:
- BS/BE Engineering (Valid PEC Registration required)
- Project Management
- MBA
- MPA
- Master’s Degree
- Four-year BS in Economics
- Other relevant professional disciplines
Applicants should also have:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
- Strong background in rural or urban infrastructure development.
- Practical experience in project planning and implementation.
- Knowledge of Government of Pakistan project planning procedures.
- Experience in both public and private sector development projects.
- Previous Project Director experience in Balochistan will be considered an advantage.
The prescribed age limit ranges from 40 to 62 years on the date of appointment.
Contract Duration and Recruitment Policy
The appointment will initially remain valid for two years. Depending on project requirements and satisfactory performance, the contract may be extended annually until completion of the PSDP project.
Selection will strictly follow the Project Director Appointment Policy issued by the Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan.
