Research Project Behind the Recruitment
The Department of Livestock Management is inviting applications to support a Punjab Agricultural Research Board (PARB) funded research initiative. The project focuses on livestock research and requires both technical expertise and field support to complete its objectives within the approved timeline.
Selected candidates will work directly under the supervision of the project team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faisal Shahzad at the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.
Available Positions
Two vacancies have been announced under the project.
Research Associate (01 Post)
Applicants should possess BSc (Hons) Animal Husbandry, BSc Animal Science, DVM, or an equivalent qualification. Candidates holding an MPhil in Livestock Management or an equivalent degree are also eligible. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 75,000.
Daily Paid Labor (01 Post)
Applicants should be literate and physically fit for field duties. Salary will be paid according to the approved District Coordination Officer (DCO) daily wage rates.
Contract Period
Both appointments will initially remain valid for six months. Depending on project requirements, satisfactory performance, and budget availability, the contracts may be renewed every six months for a maximum total duration of two years.
