LESCO has advertised vacancies for Assistant Manager/Junior Engineer (Electrical), Assistant Manager (Customer Services), Line Superintendent-I, Head Clerk/Assistant, Commercial Assistant, Line Superintendent-II, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Meter Reader, Driver, Tracer, and Bill Distributor.
The highest number of vacancies has been announced for Bill Distributor (54 posts), followed by Meter Reader (36 posts), Driver (18 posts), Lower Division Clerk (17 posts), Commercial Assistant (15 posts), Upper Division Clerk (10 posts), and several engineering and supervisory positions.
Academic Background and Experience
Qualification requirements differ according to the nature of each post. Engineering positions require B.Sc./B.E. degrees with valid PEC registration, while customer service positions accept Master’s qualifications in relevant disciplines.
Clerical and commercial positions require Intermediate, Graduation, or Bachelor’s degrees along with a three-month MS Office or Basic IT certificate from recognized institutions. Age Criteria and Important Conditions
The upper age limit ranges between 30 and 33 years depending on the post. Driver positions accept candidates between 25 and 35 years. The advertised age already includes the general five-year relaxation. Additional age relaxation will only be available where permitted under government rules.
