Medical Appointments Available
The recruitment drive covers two separate commissioning categories.
Medical Branch (Specialist) – SPSSC
Specialist doctors will be inducted in the rank of Squadron Leader after completing 24 weeks of training at PAFAA.
Specializations announced include:
- Eye Specialist
- Anesthetist
- Radiologist
- ENT Specialist
- Psychiatrist
- Neuro Surgeon
- Orthopedic Surgeon
Applicants must possess specialization qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), including relevant FCPS, FRCS, MRCS, FRCR, FRCA, MRCP, or Diplomate of the American Board certifications according to the specialty.
Medical Branch (GDMOs) – SPSSC

General Duty Medical Officers will join as Flight Lieutenant after completing 24 weeks of training at PAFAA.
Applicants must hold an MBBS degree with at least First Division (or equivalent) from a PMDC-recognized medical institution and must have completed a minimum of one-year house job from a PMDC-recognized hospital. Preference will be given to candidates possessing relevant post-house-job experience.
Candidates who cleared FCPS Part-I after December 2025 are also eligible to apply.

Recruitment Journey
The selection process follows several competitive stages designed to evaluate academic ability, medical fitness, psychological suitability, and leadership potential.
Candidates successfully completing online registration will first appear in the Intelligence Test followed by the Academic Test conducted at their respective PAF Information and Selection Centres.
Those qualifying the written assessment will undergo:
- Initial Medical Examination
- Physical Fitness Test
- Initial Interview
- Psychological Assessment (Shortlisted Candidates)
- AHQ Selection Board Interview
- Final Medical Examination at Combined Military Hospital (CMB), Lahore
- Final AHQ Selection Board Interview in Islamabad
Final merit will be prepared by Air Headquarters.

Important Restrictions Before Applying
Certain applicants are not eligible for induction.
Applications will not be entertained from candidates who have been repeatedly rejected or screened out by ISSB or Armed Forces Selection Boards under prescribed limits, dismissed or removed from government service or the Armed Forces, permanently declared medically unfit by Appeal Medical Board, convicted in criminal cases involving serious offences, medically unfit because of Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C, withdrawn from military academies on disciplinary grounds, or found involved in academic certificate tampering, forgery, or concealment of information. Candidates screened out three times during preliminary selection by the Army, Navy, or Air Force are also ineligible.

Step-by-Step Recruitment Guide

- Complete the online registration between 02 June 2026 and 14 June 2026.
- Upload the required information accurately and verify all educational and personal details before submission.
- Ensure you possess a valid NADRA Smart CNIC and PMDC Registration Certificate before appearing in the recruitment process.
- Download or print the registration slip after successful submission.
- Report to the allotted PAF Information & Selection Centre on the scheduled date for the Intelligence Test and Academic Test.
- Candidates clearing the written stage should complete the Initial Medical Examination, Physical Test, and Interview at the designated centre.
- Shortlisted applicants will be called for the Psychological Assessment followed by interviews before the Air Headquarters Selection Board.
- Successfully recommended candidates will undergo the Final Medical Examination at CMB Lahore and the Final AHQ Selection Board Interview in Islamabad.
- Final induction into the Pakistan Air Force Medical Branch will be made strictly according to overall merit and successful completion of all recruitment stages before the closing date of 14 June 2026.
